FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED

Sebastian

May 11, 2022 - Feb 1, 2026

Sebastian came to me by way of my thoughtful son at just under 8 weeks old. It was a 60th birthday gift to me with my son’s military bonus. Sebastian was so happy and always playful. He had no off button unless it was time to go to bed, then he was the first one to the bedroom! His personality was always lightning in a bottle and kept us on our toes. He loved the dog park and all toys, especially frisbees. He was taken from us by way of medical error at under 4 years old and cannot be replaced. We miss our little bundle of chaos. Thanks for the love and for bringing smiles to us, Sebastian!

Happy 4th birthday, May 11th!

Love, Kim

Dec 17, 2013 - Feb 9, 2023

Jolie was our very first baby and our greatest love - long before we became parents. She traveled everywhere with us (even flying to Oregon for our baby moon) and became the gentlest, most loving big sister to our boys from the day they were born. Later in life, Jolie developed mast cell cancer tumors on her leg, and we did every treatment we could, even seeking care in Tijuana, but eventually had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go peacefully. We miss her every day and will love her forever.

Love, Shanel, Marcos, Lucas, and Owen.

Artemus "Artie"

 Aug 24, 2013 - Sept 14, 2025

Artemus, known as Artie, was born on August 24, 2013 and quickly became the "golden child" in our home. He loved to travel with his pawrents, going camping and boating, and anywhere they would take him. He never missed a chance to snooze nearest his most favorite person...mom. Sadly, in July of 2024, Artie was diagnosed with lymphoma. With the help of chemotherapy, we were able to spend another 13 months with our most wonderful boy. On September 14, 2025, his parents made the heart-breaking decision to let him cross the rainbow bridge. He is missed every single day but we know he is still with us in spirit.

We love you Artemus XOXO

Sid Vicious

Memorial Tribute

Artemus "Artie"

April 25, 2013 – May 12, 2026

Sid Vicious became a beloved member of our family on February 2, 2015, at the age of one year and nine months, thanks to the recommendation from a good friend. Although we missed his puppy years - skipping the potty training and teething phase - from the very first day he came into our lives, Sid made it clear he was in charge, claiming the couch and our bed as his own despite our early attempts at setting boundaries.

For the rest of his life, Sid slept comfortably between my husband and I, often hogging the bed and occasionally sharing a pillow as if it was his rightful territory. Even in his later years, when jumping became difficult, he never lost his spot on the couch, faithfully joining us to watch TV and soak up all the love and affection he so deserved.

Sid had a special love for his rings—especially his favorite Nyla bone ring and his treasured Bully rings. Whether we were arriving home or welcoming visitors, Sid would always be the first to greet everyone with excitement, proudly carrying one of his cherished toys. He would prance around the house, eager to show off his favorite toy, at the time and joyfully welcome anyone into our home. Sid’s middle name was vicious, but he was not.

Sid also enjoyed what we fondly called his “spa treatment” at South San Diego Bay Veterinary Hospital. Every few weeks, Sid received chiropractic care, acupuncture, and muscle laser treatments to support his hind legs, always cared for with compassion and kindness.

As our only child and fur baby, Sid was deeply loved, adored, and spoiled. He had a special talent for tugging at our heartstrings to earn treats – including his daily servings of cheese and salami – which we happily gave him. We feel incredibly fortunate to have Sid live as long as he did, for thirteen beautiful years.

Sid was our little lover, and our snuggler, and will forever be our baby boy. We deeply missed our “bubs”.

With all our love,

Brandee and Jason
