Some of our dogs come to us with severe medical conditions that cannot be cured. While they may never be adoptable, these hospice dogs still deserve love, comfort, and dignity for however long they have. Our Hospice & Permanent Foster Program ensures that these dogs receive ongoing medical care, stability, and a loving home for the rest of their lives. What your sponsorship provides
Lifesaving medications, prescription or specialty diets, and ongoing medical monitoring are essential for our hospice dogs. We also provide comfort care and support for the foster families involved in our permanent foster program, who give daily love and stability to these dogs. Additionally, we offer resources for our hospice and long-term care program, ensuring that dogs with serious health conditions can live with dignity and comfort.
What do sponsors receive?
Sponsors of our dog sponsorship program receive meaningful milestone updates that celebrate each hospice dog's special moments and important changes in their care. Instead of monthly updates, we share heartfelt highlights as they happen, such as:
- A new medication or diagnosis
- A health improvement or comfort breakthrough
- A holiday, birthday, or seasonal photo
- Any milestone that shows how your support is making their life brighter!
These updates allow you to follow the journey of our hospice dogs in a heartfelt way, knowing that your sponsorship is providing them comfort, dignity, and love through our permanent foster program.
HOW TO SPONSOR A HOSPICE DOG
SPONSORSHIP SUPPORT LEVELS:
$25 — Comfort Sponsor
Helps provide daily comforts for our hospice dogs, including treats, bedding, and essential supplies.
$50 — Care Sponsor
Supports routine medical needs such as medications and prescription food for those in our permanent foster program.
$75 — Medical Support Sponsor
Helps cover larger medical expenses and ongoing monitoring for our beloved dogs.
$100 — Critical Care Sponsor
Supports advanced medical treatments and critical care needs for dogs requiring special attention.
❤️ To sponsor a dog, select the individual dog below and complete the sponsorship form. Sponsors will receive a monthly invoice via email until automated monthly giving is available. Each dog has unique medical needs, and sponsorships go directly toward their care.
We are actively working to add automated monthly sponsorships when our new platform is ready.
Sponsorships support each dog’s overall care and may be used where most needed if medical priorities change.
SPONSORSHIP FAQS
When will I be billed? Sponsorships for hospice dogs are supported through monthly invoices sent on the 1st of each month. New sponsors will receive their first invoice in the next billing cycle.
How do I cancel my dog sponsorship? You may cancel at any time by emailing us. There are no long-term commitments.
What happens if the dog I sponsor passes away? If a sponsored dog passes away, we will notify you with care. You may choose to end your sponsorship or transfer your support to another hospice or permanent foster program dog. Any remaining funds will support our hospice and long-term medical program unless you request otherwise.
Can I change my sponsorship amount? Yes. Just email us and we’ll be happy to adjust your dog sponsorship level.
