WHY FOSTER WITH SCFBR

THE IMPORTANCE OF FOSTERING A RESCUE DOG

Foster homes are vital for the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs in need. Like many rescues, SCFBR relies heavily on foster families to provide temporary care, allowing the rescue to assess the dog’s health, behavior, and temperament in a real home environment. This is crucial for matching the dog with the right forever family.

SCFBR Fosters provide a safe and nurturing space for a French Bulldog that may have been abused, neglected, or abandoned.  Fostering allows rescued dogs to recover from medical treatments, overcome past traumas, and learn how to trust again.   Foster homes also provide much needed socialization and basic training that will make our French Bulldogs more appealing for adoption and better members of their adoptive families.

By opening their homes and hearts to a French Bulldog, fosters not only save lives but also play a key role in the dog’s journey to finding a permanent, loving home.  SCFBR simply could not operate at full capacity without this critical support, making fosters an indispensable part of the process.
